Food was delicious! The service was very quick, the place felt homey and overall me and my husband had a great experience eating here during our honeymoon!!
I love hole-in-the-wall places and this place fit the bill. A few tables inside and outside, but so close to Kailua beach it's worth the short walk to enjoy the food with a view. I got the mochiko chicken plate lunch. A good size portion. The mochiko chicken was outstanding. A light, crispy, slightly sweet batter and perfectly cooked chicken. Service was fast. I'm definitely coming back to explore the rest of the menu.
WOW!! a true hidden gem located 10 minutes away from the beach! Truly, a mom and Pop shop and the portions are very generous for the price. This was a highlight from our trip would highly recommend!
A very casual Hawaiian bbq place. Food was great! Bbq chicken was tender, katsu chicken was nice and crispy, loco moco had perfectly runny eggs and sauce. Macaroni salad was also very tasty. Will definitely be back on my next trip to lanikai!
Great food with no frills! We had the Mixed BBQ plate - BBQ chicken, steak and pork. Side of rice and delicious macaroni salad. Stopped by after a day on the beach and it was enough food for two of us to share. $17.50 for two is a Hawaiian bargain. Sorry no photo we were hungry!!!
Great food, we stopped here while driving. Their ribs and Mac salad are delicious! A great place to get food to take to the beach, their service was fast and courteous.
The food was great and served hot which I like because I hate food that should be hot come cold or luck warm. It's a mom and pop joint so to the point and back to the back to help in prepping. Again cool place to get out of the heat just a mom and pop making their dreams come true.
After spending the morning at Lanikai Beach, the husband and I had lunch at K and K Bar-B-Que Inn. We shared the combo plate with BBQ short ribs, chicken katsu, and generous scoops of rice and macaroni salad. Food came out quickly, and it looked and smelled amazing! We ended up eating in our car, as most of the seats were taken. The short ribs were cooked nicely with good flavoring, the chicken katsu was fried well, and the macaroni salad was appetizing. All in all, solid place to stop by for lunch if you're in the area.
Classic local plate lunch place with both Hawaiian and Chinese offerings in a small strip mall near Kailua Beach. Parking was tough on a holiday and business was brisk, but pleasant and efficient ordering and service. Only a few tables to eat at inside and a couple outside, with dated decor, but homey and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the kalbi ribs which included a generous portion of meaty, well marinated short ribs and served with the standard two scoops of rice and an excellent version of mac salad. Great option if you're near Kailua and hope to try other things soon on their extensive menu
